Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end supply planning process framework, integrating engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics.
• Lead supply planning for engineer-to-order (ETO) projects across 12–36+ month horizons and translate supply capability into project timelines and operational commitments.
• Develop and maintain capacity models, safety stock policies, and inventory optimization tailored to high-mix, low-volume production with engineering change variability.
• Implement Plan for Every Part, maintain accurate ERP parameters (SAP S/4 MM, PP) and drive supplier collaboration for timely forecasts and material availability.
• Conduct what-if analyses for disruptions (engineering changes, raw material shortages, supplier delays) and develop contingency plans for capacity bottlenecks and supply shocks.
• Facilitate monthly Supply Review meetings, prepare pre-read materials, document decisions, and ensure alignment with Demand Review and Integrated Reconciliation.
• Monitor KPIs such as Supply Plan Accuracy, On-Time Delivery for ETO projects, Inventory Turns, and Asset Utilization; apply Lean and Six Sigma for continuous improvement.
• Leverage ERP (SAP S/4), APS, and BI tools, and explore automation and AI-driven planning to enhance accuracy and responsiveness.
• Mentor planners and promote cross-functional collaboration, agility, and data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines and live Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5–7 years in supply planning, material management, or S&OP, preferably in industrial equipment manufacturing.
• Proven experience in capacity modeling, inventory optimization, and risk management.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP S/4 – MM, PP) and familiarity with APS solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
• Certifications such as CPIM or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
