NOC Engineer

About the Role

Work at the office 100% at Empire Tower (BTS Chong Nonsi). We are seeking a skilled and dedicated NOC Engineer to ensure the uptime and stability of our systems and services, providing monitoring, incident diagnosis and resolution, regular maintenance, and 24x7 support through shift work (including nights and weekends).

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance and availability of systems and services; ensure services and platform are proactively and reactively monitored
• Investigate and resolve incidents promptly to minimize business impact
• Analyze incidents, report trends, and drive continuous improvement to reduce repeated incidents
• Follow incident management processes and maintain accurate documentation
• Escalate and coordinate incidents with cross-functional teams and communicate incident details, impact, and remediation steps to business/management
• Perform regular maintenance activities and collaborate to resolve technical issues
• Provide shift-based support in a 24x7x365 environment, including nights and weekends

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent work experience; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective written and verbal communication in English
• Customer-focused with a commitment to resolve issues swiftly and effectively
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Kibana and Zabbix
• Ability to work shifts to support a 24x7x365 environment

Nice to have

• Experience with incident management and ticketing systems (e.g. JIRA, ServiceNow)
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems, including command-line troubleshooting
• Scripting or automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Understanding of ITIL framework and incident management best practices
