Data Scientist

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for data analysis projects at financial institutions, working closely with senior data scientists.

• Design, build, and evaluate machine learning models, primarily focusing on tabular data.

• Perform data processing, feature engineering, and metric design using Python.

• Implement model designs with a strong consideration for production operations, including MLOps principles.

• Collaborate with AI consultants to clarify analysis requirements and issues from a technical perspective, offering support for proposals.

• Contribute to the design and accumulation of reusable analytical patterns and model libraries for the company's core technologies.

What we're looking for

• Must have:

• At least 1 year of practical work experience in machine learning.

• Proven experience analyzing structured (tabular) data.

• Proficiency in Python for data processing, feature engineering, and model building.

• Fluent Japanese language skills for business communication.

• Nice to have:

• Familiarity with MLOps concepts and tools.

• Experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
