Java Coding Specialist - Freelance AI Trainer Project — United States of America.

We're looking for Java specialists with deep fluency in object-oriented design, concurrency, JVM internals, data structures, algorithms, and system architecture to evaluate model-generated Java solutions. You will assess whether solutions are correct, well-reasoned, and production-quality, and document failure patterns to improve training data for large-scale language models.

Responsibilities

• Review Java problems and model-generated solutions across a range of difficulty and complexity.
• Judge correctness, code quality, design choices, and handling of edge cases.
• Identify where model logic breaks down and document reproducible failure patterns.
• Assess whether problems are well-specified and appropriately challenging for model training.
• Provide clear, actionable explanations of why a solution is incorrect or suboptimal.

Qualifications

• Deep experience with Java and object-oriented design; strong knowledge of concurrency, JVM internals, data structures, and algorithms.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related field is a strong signal.
• Real-world Java experience, competitive programming, open-source contributions, or technical writing preferred.
• Ability to clearly articulate technical reasoning and write concise, actionable reports.
• Successful completion of the company's preliminary Java-focused assessments is required.

• Pay: $45 per hour for candidates who pass the preliminary Java assessments.
