Assistant Technical Manager

About the Role

Assistant Technical Manager at Solmax supporting APAC sales strategies and providing technical leadership for Solmax geosynthetic products in Southeast Asia and APAC as required.

Responsibilities

• Support APAC sales strategies and the sale of specified products.
• Explore, identify and promote Solmax’s value-added products (VAP) to customers, engineers, consultants, developers and operators.
• Develop and manage long-term project pipelines and manage key strategic accounts to promote product specifications.
• Provide and coordinate technical support for company products and services to the sales team and external customers, including written and verbal responses.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to sales teams, external designers, engineers and end users for projects in Southeast Asia and other APAC countries.
• Initiate and contribute technical papers, presentations, seminars and conferences to increase company exposure and industry participation.
• Participate in industry forums to expand contact networks with customers and engineers and maintain awareness of industry developments and new market applications.
• Serve as central technical contact point and lead for all technical aspects of Solmax products and customer requests.
• Coordinate product material testing and evaluation to support projects.
• Develop supporting documents, data and presentations for technical sales and marketing purposes.
• Organize seminars/webinars, lunch & learn sessions and product technical training.
• Perform other technical related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced studies in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or equivalent discipline.
• Capable of defining and resolving problems when dealing with internal and external customers.
• Good command of English and Thai (reading, writing and speaking).
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multi-tasking responsibilities and work independently.
