Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple IT projects including mission-critical and legacy modernization initiatives.
• Work with project sponsors to clearly establish scope, deliverables, budget, resource requirements, and expected timeline to align with AXA standards or Agile practice and ITIL best practices including security and compliance.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and implementations based on gate documentation for management approval.
• Collaborate with project team members (including external vendors) to deliver tasks according to milestones; outsource parts of work to external vendors as needed.
• Monitor and ensure project progress is timely, with sufficient quality, within agreed scope, and within budget (QDC); manage and track all related project costs and perform cost-benefit analysis.
• Take full ownership of IT projects and drive them to success; support Department Head to prepare and complete the annual project budget and complete assigned jobs/documents.
• Coordinate with IT teams on issues and strategies related to development, implementation, and maintenance of deployed solutions.
• Analyze technical and analytical issues, resolve conflicts among project members, and brainstorm solutions to meet timelines and budgets.
• Distribute, communicate, and monitor an annual program plan; monitor and track implementation progress with external vendors and AXA Tech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with preference toward management and/or analytical degree programs (e.g., business administration, computer science, industrial engineering); MBA preferred but not required.
• Proven experience in project management: 3–5 years as Project Manager.
• Life Insurance business knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Experience in managing IT projects or familiarity with front-end and back-end development is preferred.
• Advantageous experience: Legacy (AS/400) to Modern Core (API, Service Based, Cloud); reporting & reconciliation; experience in policy issuing, administration, premium, payment, claim, core insurance/financial processes.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; knowledge in Scrum Master and Agile.
• Good communication skills, service-minded, enthusiastic, able to work under pressure, and highly self-motivated.
• Fluent spoken and written English and Thai.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and security; strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
