Senior Software QA - Section Manager (Automation)

About the Role

Senior Software QA - Section Manager (Automation) at Lotus's / CP AXTRA. Onsite, full-time based at Nawamin Office, Buengkum, Bangkok 10230, Thailand.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in the system under test.
• Work with the project team to plan testing activities and analyze requirements, providing effective feedback.
• Define test scope for assigned projects/assignments.
• Identify bugs by performing functional, usability, compatibility, performance, and security testing.
• Plan and execute tests for assigned work and manage defects.
• Take ownership of the quality of testing and work in cycles for defects, change requests, and new product features.
• Communicate testing status and provide test results/reports.
• Coach and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on test automation experience in UI and API testing.
• Programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Deep experience with Playwright, WebDriverIO, Postman/Newman, or similar tools.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD systems (e.g., GitLab CI), and test reporting dashboards (Grafana).
• Familiarity with QA best practices, code versioning, and agile workflows.
• Passion for test architecture, automation scalability, team enablement and an automation-first mindset.
