Junior Project Operations (Merchant Operations) (ShopeePay)

About the Role

Act as the main point of contact for merchant-related matters for ShopeePay, handling inquiries, concerns, technical issues, and working with cross-functional teams to improve merchant experience and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for merchant related matters, promptly and efficiently addressing inquiries, concerns, and technical issues.
• Provide assistance in resolving issues for merchants, including onboarding, setting up staff accounts, and ensuring merchant information is accurate and complies with regulatory requirements.
• Identify essential features and requirements to improve merchant experience.
• Optimize workflows by identifying weak points and streamlining processes to elevate overall operational efficiency.
• Effectively liaise with stakeholders such as Business Development, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, and Compliance to ensure merchant satisfaction.
• Prepare reporting by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data trends.
• Collaborate with Risk Management and Compliance to maintain and enhance KYM guidelines to mitigate risks.
• Conduct periodic merchant risk assessments to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or any related field.
• 1 - 3 years of working experience in related fields.
• Fluent in Thai and English.
• Proficient with numbers and data organization, especially MS Excel or Google Sheets.
• Able to work effectively and efficiently towards goals in a complex, diverse and fast-paced environment.
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills with initiative; detail oriented and a team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Able to solve complex problems through data analysis; SQL and coding skills are a plus (e.g., Google Apps Script, JavaScript, Python).

Skills / Technical Skills

• MS Excel / Google Sheets, data analysis and reporting.
• SQL and basic coding (Google Apps Script, JavaScript, Python) as a plus.
• Experience collaborating with Risk/Compliance teams and knowledge of KYM/regulatory requirements.
