Manager, Supply Chain Purchasing

About the Role

The Manager, Category Management - Facilities will shape indirect procurement strategy and drive adoption across the organization to support Celestica's expansion and operations of new facilities in Thailand. The role manages one to two indirect categories (~$50M spend) and balances strategic planning with hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage one to two indirect categories representing approximately $50M of spend.
• Develop and execute strategic category plans (approx. 40% strategic planning, 60% hands-on execution).
• Drive savings initiatives and optimize spend under management.
• Improve procurement cycle times for assigned categories.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of indirect procurement processes.
• Travel globally approximately 10–25% of the time.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of specific experience in category management.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Commerce, Engineering) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, fast-paced environment and influence stakeholders to drive results.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; experience with Ivalua is a plus.
