Senior Full Stack Developer (Contract)

About the Role

Senior Full Stack Developer (Contract) responsible for designing, developing and maintaining APIs and full-stack systems to ensure performance, scalability and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs to facilitate communication between front-end and back-end systems.
• Implement server-side functionality using back-end languages such as Go, Python, or PHP.
• Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases for efficient data storage, retrieval, and manipulation.
• Continuously monitor and optimize the system for performance, efficiency, and scalability.
• Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure system integrity.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following team best practices and established patterns.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain consistent code quality across front-end and back-end codebases.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers, product managers, designers, and QA to align development with product goals.
• Contribute to testing strategy including unit tests, integration tests, and load/performance tests; test and debug applications across front-end and back-end.
• Maintain clear technical documentation including system architecture, database schemas, API specifications, troubleshooting steps and internal developer handbooks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Around 2–5 years of experience in back-end or full-stack development in production environments.
• Proficiency in Golang or Python with strong understanding of server-side architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Proficiency in designing, developing, and integrating APIs (REST, gRPC, GraphQL).
• Experience with back-end frameworks such as Gin (Go), Django (Python), or Laravel (PHP).
• Familiarity with front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript or front-end frameworks is a plus.
• Understanding of security principles and data protection best practices in web applications.
• Experience with Git for version control in collaborative teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; strong work ethic, self-motivated, proactive, and a team player.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with modern back-end and full-stack technologies; passion in games will be a big plus.
