About the Team

The Shopee Commercial BD team is the engine behind our platform’s most ambitious growth levers. As the lead for Speed Initiatives, you will own the vision for Shopee's Instant and Same-Day delivery ecosystem. This is not a maintenance role; it is a 'builder' role. You will be responsible for defining how ultra-fast fulfillment transforms from a premium service into a core driver of user acquisition and platform stickiness. You will report to the Head of BD Infrastructure and serve as the strategic lead for our most time-sensitive logistics value propositions.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives: initiate and manage scalable solutions and programs aimed at enhancing the overall buyer journey and improving delivery speed.
• Drive project execution: assist in the end-to-end implementation of key projects, ensuring alignment with the Commercial team’s strategic objectives and timely delivery.
• Provide data-driven insights: identify analytical and reporting needs, define business metrics, and provide insightful recommendations to support continuous business improvement.
• Optimize processes: work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand pain points, scope problems, and enhance internal processes through automation and strategic improvements to boost team productivity.
• Communicate effectively: translate complex data and insights into clear, illustrative presentations and dashboards and communicate strategic recommendations to business leaders.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in business analyst–related roles analyzing large data sets and informing company strategy.
• Bachelor's/Master’s degree, preferably in Analytics, Statistics, Software, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or Engineering.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge in SQL is a plus.
• Experience in logistics, delivery, or e-commerce in a fast-paced and performance-driven environment is a plus.
• Problem solver: able to assess complex business problems, find creative and effective solutions, and employ tactics and tools to resolve situations in a timely manner.
• Scalable solutioning: able to think and plan ahead, building out scalable information systems and dashboards for day-to-day business decisions.
