About the Role

Join us as a Lead Frontend Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cutting-edge applications. Lead and inspire a frontend engineering team while remaining hands-on with coding (~80% of your time). This role focuses on building exceptional user experiences and driving technical innovation.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the implementation of new technologies to solve problems and improve existing systems, and encourage standardization of best practices and methodologies
• Fine-tune the technical stack with a focus on performance, security, stability, and scalability
• Write client-side code to create super-fast, easy-to-use web-based applications for desktop and mobile browsers and hybrid in-app pages
• Participate in design discussions and roadmap planning
• Review and support frontend technical designs across teams to maximize speed and scale
• Build libraries and frameworks that support complex web applications, speed up development efficiency, and improve code quality
• Coach, mentor, and grow team members

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in frontend development with 2+ years in a technical leadership role
• Hands-on development experience with TypeScript, React and JavaScript
• Experience with web services, microservices, APIs, and SOA
• Proven track record of delivering projects with high-quality UI
• Understanding of state-management patterns such as Redux, Flux, or similar
• Ability to provide technical expertise and complete peer code reviews in a timely manner to ensure code standards, completeness, cleanliness, and quality
