Quality Engineer (Junior - Senior Level)

The Omise team in Thailand develops enterprise services around payment solutions, FinTech and payment platforms to serve corporate clients globally. We focus on making digital finance seamless and borderless.

Responsibilities

• Work in an agile/scrum environment, meeting sprint commitments and contributing to the agile process
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Plan, create and execute testing strategies to find errors and propose effective solutions
• Ensure appropriate test activities align with product design and implementation
• Define necessary test automation, design automation flows and collaborate with development engineers on implementation effort
• Assist the team with cross-platform engineering challenges and contribute ideas to improve product quality
• Design, develop and enhance automation frameworks and related infrastructure
• Review quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
• 2+ years of experience as QA Engineer / Tester / Automation Engineer or Software Development Engineer in Test
• Experience testing Web applications and backend APIs to ensure products meet requirements
• Experience building and writing automation scripts/programs using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Robotframework, Rest-Assured, etc.
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and ability to communicate effectively within a team
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills with creative problem-solving
• Experience in FinTech/financial services, Java programming, and specific tools like Selenium/Rest-Assured is a plus; ability to code in any programming language is a plus
