This site is the integral manufacturing plant and R&D Center. It is the first smart factory in Thailand. It will enable us to respond to growing automobile production in Thailand and to serve international as well as local automotive customers on the spot. The supplier of technology and services is focusing heavily on connected manufacturing at the factory.

Manufacturing Plant: The plant is producing two major product categories: connectors and fuel injection units. Connectors are a booming segment with growth potential in the ICE- and EV-market. The factory is also the first plant for the manufacturing of gasoline injection systems in Thailand. It is capable of producing millions of fuel injector units every year and can meet the increasing demand of our customers in the region.

R&D Center: The R&D office and laboratory are located on same site as production. In order to have dedicated laboratory accommodating automotive specific machine and equipment such as fuel testing benches and Noise, Vibration, Harshness chambers.

Job Description

• Responsible for the development, evaluation and implementation of tools and methods with the focus on coding and programing in order to improve the manufacturing KPIs (OEE, Scrap reduction, CT, Productivity).
• Data mining or extracting usable data from valuable data sources.
• Development of algorithms for data processing and database management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop end-to-end process over the whole value stream.
• Responsible for developing and the follow-up strategy and milestones of the Industry 4.0 Roadmap of the value stream.
• Perform cost / benefit analysis of the I4.0 solutions.

Qualifications

• Currently a student in Bachelor's degree in 1) Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, Automotive Engineering or related field.
• Intermediate or Advanced in English.
• Experience in data analysis and data visualization software like Tableau, Power BI, etc.
• Experience with coding languages (VBA, Python, SQL database, Machine learning tools or similar.
• Strong communication and presentation.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
• Collaboration, working with cross-functional teams.
• Interest in Engineering and Data science processes.
• Initiative and creative mindset.
• Knowledge on machine learning is beneficial.
• Knowledge about manufacturing processes (optional).

Working conditions

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 am. – 5:30 pm.
