About the Role

Our client is seeking Freelance/Task-based Language Data and Quality Reviewers with proficiency in Thai and English. This is a remote, task-based engagement (1099 independent contractor) with work assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Hours align with the IST time zone and may be irregular or intermittent. Typical engagement ranges from 0 to 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Analyze datasets and translate raw data into actionable insights to support business improvement strategies
• Handle data batches, apply labeling techniques, and manipulate data according to project requirements with high accuracy
• Oversee the quality of training data, identify issues or anomalies, and implement corrective measures to maintain data integrity
• Provide translations and contextual understanding to ensure data aligns with language and cultural nuances
• Transcribe and annotate audio or video files according to detailed project guidelines
• Offer recommendations to improve business processes and outcomes based on data analysis

Qualifications

• Proficient in Thai and English (reading and writing required)
• Some experience in data labeling, manipulation, or quality assurance preferred
• Strong logical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent listening, comprehension, and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills, particularly typing and use of a personal laptop/desktop
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn about AI technologies and data analysis techniques
• Certification as a linguist is a plus

Additional Requirements & Logistics

• Must have reliable high-speed internet and a functioning device (laptop/desktop) available from day one
• Preferred availability in IST (8:00 AM IST onwards)
• Notifications and task assignments sent via WhatsApp, email, or Slack after onboarding
• Onboarding performed through Deel.com; successful completion and documentation required
• Non-US candidates may be asked to provide a W-8 BEN form; classification may vary by location and local regulations

Compensation

USD $3.00 to $5.00 per hour.
