Transportation Representative, AmazonNowCO, RoW APEX

About the Role

NOC (Network Operation Center) is the central command and control center for Transportation Execution across the supply chain supporting multiple geographies (NA, India, EU). A Transportation (Trans Ops) Representative facilitates flow of information between carriers, vendors, fulfillment centers and internal teams, resolves exceptions that impact customer experience and business continuity, and analyzes network trends to propose or drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inbound and outbound operations to ensure timely pickups and deliveries and address exceptions across the freight lifecycle
• Communicate with external customers (carriers, vendors/suppliers) and internal stakeholders (retail, finance, software support, fulfillment centers)
• Research and query internal tools to provide timely resolutions and make real-time decisions
• Systematically escalate variances or problems to relevant owners and follow through to ensure delivery of resolutions
• Identify trends from network data and ideate/drive process improvements or automation to streamline operations
• Prepare written narratives outlining weekly findings and variances and present these findings in review forums
• Provide real-time customer experience support in a 24/7 operating environment, including night shifts

Qualifications

• 10+2 or Bachelor’s degree
• 12–24 months of work experience
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team in a dynamic environment
• Willing to work night shift / 24x7 operating environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate with Bachelor’s degree
• Good logical skills and strong communication
