Senior Software Engineer - Java, Spring Boot

About the Role

Senior Backend Developer (Java, Spring Boot) - 5 to 10 years of experience. Job Purpose: To prepare detailed design, implement, test, troubleshoot & deliver high-quality, and fully performing software that complies with client requirements, quality standards, and architectural design.

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle by interacting with Project Lead and Architects
• Prepare detailed design, implement, test, and deliver high-quality, fully performing software that complies with software requirements, quality standards, and technical design
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system and troubleshoot and debug software systems to fix issues
• Review design, source code, test cases and suggest improvements to ensure conformance with requirements, performance, and maintainability
• Contribute to future technology development and reusable development to build organizational capacity and meet customer requirements
• Support and develop software engineers by reviewing artifacts, providing advice and coaching
• Apply, design and develop automated testing strategies and build automated testing frameworks; analyze and verify automated and manual test approaches and execute acceptance, integration, installation and system testing
• Set test environments, design test plans, test functionality, system, performance, regression and service; provide feedback on usability and serviceability, trace results to quality risks and report to concerned people

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in backend development
• Mandatory: Capital Market domain experience
• Mastery in software design and coding and knowledge of key software design patterns
• Software estimation skills and excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrate expertise in relevant software technologies
