Technician (AIA East Gateway)

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment rooms and facilities regularly using predefined checklists and keep detailed records.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and investigate & repair equipment as requested by tenants.
• Inspect electrical, pneumatic, climate controls and valves; monitor chiller consumption and air-conditioning temperatures.
• Walk duty technicians through weekend work plans and provide technical recommendations as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors for maintenance work and expedite equipment moves, adds and changes.
• Provide electrical and telephone systems support for exhibitions and be prepared for emergencies or unexpected situations.
• Follow local governmental rules and company procedures; perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Vocation or Diploma in Electricity or related field; new graduates welcome (experience an advantage).
• Experience in preventive maintenance and building systems in high-rise buildings is preferred.
• Electrical license will be an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving ability and good interpersonal skills.
• Available to work in shifts.
