Supervisor, Refinery

Job Summary

Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient production within the refinery, maintaining safety standards and optimizing processes for SD Guthrie International Morakot Public Company Limited.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of refinery operators and technicians, assigning tasks and providing guidance.
• Monitor and control refinery processes, including distillation, cracking, and blending, to meet production targets and quality specifications.
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities, identifying and addressing potential issues or malfunctions.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs and preventative maintenance activities.
• Analyze operational data, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Prepare and maintain accurate production records, reports, and logs.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
• Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in refinery operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of refinery processes, equipment, and control systems.
• In-depth knowledge of safety procedures, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications and control systems.
