The team manages the latest hardware running Windows, macOS, and Linux using cloud management technologies and on-site services.

About the Role

As a Workday Time Tracking Specialist, you will be the primary expert ensuring the Time Tracking module operates seamlessly, scales effectively, and supports accurate payroll and regulatory compliance. While Time Tracking is the core focus, you will also contribute across other Workday domains and HRIS platforms, partnering closely with People and IT teams to deliver scalable solutions and improve employee experience. This role can be based in Bangkok, Gurgaon or Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities

• Lead configuration and maintenance of Workday Time Tracking, including time entry rules, validation logic, work schedules, time calculations, and compliance requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions that enhance employee experience.
• Own and manage reporting, calculated fields, and security configurations to provide accurate insights into time entries, exceptions, overtime, and pay-impact data.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge sharing, including SOPs, configuration guides, and process maps to strengthen team resiliency.
• Work across other Workday domains and internal tools as needed to expand People Technology capabilities.
• Stay informed on Workday releases and people technology trends to identify opportunities for enhancement and automation.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on Workday experience, with at least 2–3 years focused on Time Tracking configuration, rules, and reporting.
• Deep expertise in Time Tracking setup, including time entry codes, calendars, work schedules, validation rules, time calculations (OT, shift premiums, holiday rules), and compliance requirements.
• Strong proficiency in Advanced Reporting and Calculated Fields, able to build complex cross-domain reports and time-related analytics.
• Solid understanding of HCM fundamentals, including business processes (Hire, Change Job, Termination) and configuration concepts (condition rules, orgs, hierarchies, custom objects).
• Working knowledge of Workday Security, including constrained/unconstrained roles and segmented security.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process efficiency and data integrity.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to influence stakeholders and translate business needs into system design.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Business Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with Workday Time Tracking, Absence, or Payroll integrations (EIBs, PECI, or custom interfaces) is a plus.
• Exposure to overtime, shift differential, or country-specific labor rule implementations, familiarity with testing frameworks and release/regression testing, international experience, and Workday certification(s) are desirable.
