About the Role

Take lead for R&D Laboratory Technician for test products (refrigerator) applying Electrolux internal test standards, international standards (IEC/ISO) and other performance standards; generate and verify test reports and communicate issues. Life testing of components and complete products. Understand and apply each country test standard including Electrolux standard to components and complete products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct performance testing of components and finished goods
• Prepare and instrument products for testing
• Create and deliver test result reports on time
• Maintain laboratory tools and equipment properly
• Carry out responsibilities outlined in the OH&S Responsibilities Manual and maintain a safe workplace
• Ensure all testing is completed as per project time plan
• Identify root cause for critical problems encountered during tests

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Engineering and/or extensive practical experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in home appliance product testing or laboratory testing; experience with refrigerators/home appliance companies preferred
• Experience in laboratory management systems
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment and data acquisition systems
• Knowledge of refrigeration/cooling systems
• Knowledge of factory products testing and processes
• Team management skills; strong communication and organizational skills; strong problem-solving skills
• Basic English literacy; ability to type in English and Thai
• Able to travel locally and internationally

Where youll be

Based at Rayong Plant, Thailand. National and international travel will be required.
