About the Role

The Product team is hiring a Business Analyst Intern to support feature execution and gain hands-on exposure to how payment processing works behind the scenes. This internship is ideal for someone eager to learn how company priorities translate into day-to-day operations and how early-stage ideas evolve into growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in shaping and delivering product increments aligned with the Portfolio Management plan (PFM).
• Help define and elaborate Features and Stories, including acceptance criteria, and assess technical viability and business value.
• Build understanding of the financial and payment processing landscape and how transactions move through the system.
• Support iteration planning and help the team maintain alignment on the rationale behind the work.
• Participate in conversations with internal and external stakeholders (including legal, risk, and compliance) to help define functional requirements and break them into executable tasks.
• Assist in refining the product roadmap and translating strategic themes into defined, executable features.
• Help monitor initiative progress by tracking activities, documenting issues and resolutions.
• Support performance monitoring through daily/weekly/monthly reviews and analyses of development and operational processes.
• Contribute to cost and resource modelling and validate resource requirements for proposed initiatives.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• No prior work experience required; exposure to business analysis, product, technology, or FinTech/payments through coursework, projects, or internships is a plus.
• Detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive, with strong critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent documentation, planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong research and writing ability and interest in producing clear, well-structured summaries and findings.
• Curiosity about how technology platforms and systems connect and exchange data.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
