This role focuses on forecasting and managing product costs from the initial design phase, ensuring target margins are met by identifying and mitigating cost risks early. It involves developing cost models, analyzing scenarios, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Design a cost-analysis model to foresee cost impact from design submission.
- Estimate cost impact under uncertainty before final numbers exist.
- Convince the team to create and compare cost options.
- Raise cost-impact risk early and drive gap-closing actions to target margin
- Approve cost-option scenarios; flag high-risk gaps for decision
- Partner with PE and production to test the feasibility of options

Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Finance, or a Cost / Industrial field
- 3+ years in product costing, cost engineering, or NPD
- Strong analytical and scenario-modeling skills; comfortable with assumptions
- Able to influence cross-functional teams with evidence
