Senior Commissioning Engineer - Data Centres

The QAQCx Owner's Representative is a site-based resource who enforces our Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Commissioning Program and acts as the first point of reference for Program-related questions or concerns on the project site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project Quality and Commissioning program requirements and hold stakeholders accountable to the GC's QA/QC Plan, the CxA's Commissioning Plan, and the Project Manual.
• Act as project point-of-contact for DCS, DCOps and HWops teams on all Quality and Commissioning matters and participate actively in Quality/Commissioning and other project coordination meetings.
• Support DCS with site management of CxA resources; review monthly invoices to approve % complete and Schedule of Values effort; review CxA change order proposals.
• Review project documentation including drawings, RFIs, submittals, vendor/subcontractor QC plans and method statements, and completed QC documentation.
• Monitor the FWT/FAT process; ensure FWTs are attended by necessary parties and required documentation is submitted for FATs; participate in FWTs as directed by DCS.
• Ensure project Quality and Commissioning issues are reported in the project's designated platform (BIM360 Field 2.0), tracked and resolved in a timely manner; escalate unresolved issues to DCS and DCOps as necessary.
• Support the CxA in incorporating Quality and Commissioning activities into the GC's master schedule; participate in weekly/monthly schedule review meetings and report slippages and escalations.
• Ensure the Cx L2-L3 checklist tagging matrix is populated with planned dates aligned to the master schedule; track actual completion dates and escalate slippages to DCS/QCx as needed.
• Monitor the overall Cx L2-L3 process, attend Cx L2-L3 owner inspections on-site, and support smooth transition from Cx L3 to L4 testing; support CxA and DCOps during L4 testing and IST.
• Support completion of the Facility Ready Checklist as part of turnover and work toward minimizing functional reports (FRs) and schedule slips due to Quality or Commissioning.
• Ensure TIMWOODS issues are captured and followed up with resolution actions; participate in GC Quality Circles and audit GC delivery of Quality Culture workshops.
• Ensure project Lessons Learned are captured and Closed Loop Learning processes are applied to significant events.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Thai and able to work without any work restrictions in Thailand.
• Experience managing Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Commissioning programs on similar projects in Thailand (data centre experience preferred).
• Experience reviewing commissioning documentation, managing CxA resources, and participating in FWT/FAT and IST activities.
• Familiarity with project issue/tracking platforms (BIM360 Field 2.0) and with aligning commissioning activities to GC master schedules.
• Site-based role with active on-site participation and stakeholder coordination.

Skills / Technical Skills

• Project and schedule management for commissioning activities, quality control and handover.
• Review and management of commissioning documentation, invoices and change proposals.
• Issue tracking and escalation to deliver timely resolutions.
