Specialist, Operations Excellence (WMS)

About the Role

To build, maintain & manage both Strategic and Operational reporting & analysis to support efficient & effective running of the business (e.g. optimizing back orders, facilitating “fair share” allocations, cost controlling and cost optimization such as freight and warehousing). Manage data accuracy, validity and transparency, and proactively support short-term and long-term operational planning & execution of DC operations. Focus on WMS (HARDIS/REFLEX) systems, engage with SME community locally and globally, build internal system knowledge, and create/maintain training material for end users. Work with LEAN & Change Team to keep SOPs updated and collaborate on projects with major business changes. Assist in system support, development & regular updates, including building and executing test cases and supporting testing activities. Support generation and execution of improvement ideas and strategic projects within APAC Operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage strategic and operational reporting and analysis to support DC operations and decision-making
• Optimize back orders, manage “fair share” allocations and control cost drivers such as freight and warehousing
• Ensure data accuracy, validity and transparency across operational systems
• Support short-term and long-term operational planning and execution for the distribution centre
• Act as WMS (HARDIS/REFLEX) SME: engage with local/global SMEs, build internal knowledge and maintain training materials for end users
• Collaborate with LEAN & Change Team to update SOPs and participate in projects that change business processes
• Assist in system support, development and regular updates to ensure stable daily operations with minimal downtime
• Build and execute test cases and support testing activities for system changes
• Propose and execute improvement projects across APAC Operations, not limited to systems and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Industrial Management, Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience in operations management, project management, or related field
• Can work independently with a high degree of accountability; self-driven and goal oriented
• Presentation and facilitation skills
• Knowledge of project feasibility analysis is a plus
• Fast learner with strong problem-solving ability and capability to identify process and skill improvements
• Ability to research topics independently, be open-minded and receptive to feedback
• Perform as an ideal team player and effective leader; able to work within and as part of a team
• Good communication in Thai and English

Skills

• Proficient in SAP, AX, WMS (REFLEX/HARDIS), TMS (CENTIRO)
• Experience with Power BI and data analysis tools
• Familiarity with SOPs, LEAN principles and operational testing
