This Field Project Assistant has major function on the community activities planning, management and implementation the project activities of “the of SAFEGUARDING NONG HAN WETLAND – A CRITICAL MOMENT FOR THAILAND’S FRESHWATER FUTURE, project, Sakon Nakhon Province in charge and ensures the compliance with the Project Document and WWF’s contractual obligations as delegated for water resources management and wetland ecosystem restoration.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Planning and implementation of project activity and community engagement.
• Collaborate with District, Sub-district officer and local people around Nong Han Wetland areas to help them enforce living quality with sustainable agricultural
• Collaborate with local people around covered areas to help them enforce living quality with sustainable management fishing and conservation
• Assist supervisor in monitoring and evaluation to develop the action plan and other document
• Liaise with regular contact as local and national partners to maintain effective and smooth operation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Community Development, Agriculture Extension, Natural Resource and Environmental Management or in relevant fields.
• At least 1 years of practical experience and working in the field with communities.
• Thorough familiarity with work processing, spreadsheet, and project scheduling computer applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill both in Thai and English language.
• Excellent critical and creative thinking and analytical skill
• Any other assigned job

Working Relationships

Internal - Work in close collaboration with project staff and support WWF Thailand staff.
External - Interact with district, sub-district and community levels, as well as NGO partners, communities, and other stakeholders
