A&A: Manager - Senior Manager (ITDA - Data Analytics / IT Audit)

Work you’ll do

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Business Building
  • Define and execute the Data Analytics growth strategy for Thailand, aligned with regional and global priorities
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities, including analytics-enabled audit, risk, and advisory offerings
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, leading proposals, client pitches, and go-to-market initiatives
  • Position Deloitte as a trusted advisor in analytics transformation, audit analytics, and data-driven risk management
• Client Engagement & Delivery
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex analytics engagements, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction
  • Oversee data extraction, transformation, analysis, and visualization activities across multiple projects
  • Provide strategic guidance on data architecture, governance, and analytics adoption
  • Translate analytical findings into clear business insights and actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • Drive innovation by integrating automation, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies into client solutions
• Team Leadership & Capability Development
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing analytics team in Thailand
  • Develop team capabilities across data engineering, visualization, and advanced analytics
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration
  • Lead and deliver training programs to upskill audit and advisory teams in data analytics
  • Act as a role model, promoting strong risk awareness, quality, and professional standards
• Analytics Solutions & Innovation
  • Lead the development of scalable analytics solutions, accelerators, and reusable assets
  • Champion the use of tools such as SQL, Python, R, Power BI, and Tableau to enhance delivery efficiency
  • Drive the adoption of data-driven audit approaches, including anomaly detection and risk analytics
  • Collaborate with regional teams to leverage global tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Stakeholder Management
  • Manage relationships with senior client stakeholders, including CFOs, CIOs, and Heads of Audit/Risk
  • Work closely with internal leadership across Audit & Assurance, Risk Advisory, and Consulting
  • Collaborate across geographies to deliver integrated, cross-border engagements

Requirements

• Experience
  • 8–12+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, data engineering, or technology-enabled advisory
  • Proven track record in leading analytics engagements and managing client relationships
  • Experience in building or scaling a data/analytics function or practice is highly preferred
  • Background in audit analytics, risk analytics, or financial data analysis is a strong advantage
• Technical Skills
  • Strong hands-on or oversight experience in:
  • Database technologies (e.g., MS SQL, Snowflake, etc.)
  • Programming (Python, R)
  • Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Solid understanding of:
  • Data modelling, ETL processes, and data quality management
  • Analytics frameworks and methodologies
  • Familiarity with automation, AI/ML, or advanced analytics techniques is a plus
• Business & Leadership Skills
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in business development and proposal writing
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements and teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, especially in ambiguous data environments
• Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Accounting, or related fields
  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CPA, or data analytics certifications are advantageous
