About the Role

The mission is to provide continuous, high quality IT services across all areas of the location including, but not limited to: Administration, Manufacturing, Shop Floor, Labs, Warehouses, Logistics and Security on a 24x7 basis. As IT Operation and Infrastructure Manager you are responsible for Continental IT Services Management, IT Infrastructure, Distribution systems, Data Center, Server, Storage, Voice system, Backups system, Network and Cybersecurity for the plant in accordance to Continental Tire standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous, high-quality IT services across Administration, Manufacturing, Shop Floor, Labs, Warehouses, Logistics and Security on a 24x7 basis.
• Manage IT Services Management, IT Infrastructure, distribution systems, data center, servers, storage, voice systems, backup systems, network and cybersecurity for the plant per Continental Tire standards.
• Provide technical leadership in the management and administration of plant IT infrastructure.
• Plan, manage, and execute projects and project tasks; ensure consistent and clear communication to key stakeholders.
• Prepare, review, and manage the budget and forecast of the IT cost center(s) and prepare/manage IT capital spending plans for global systems implementations and local plant requirements.
• Ensure IT assets, standards, procedures and policies are maintained according to Continental AG IT policies and procedures.
• Collect, maintain and publish key IT service measurement statistics and KPIs as required.
• Practice ITIL processes: Incident, Change, Problem Management and Demand Management.
• Analyse IT business systems and infrastructure issues and provide solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Information & Communication Technology/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of IT or industry working experience and minimum 3 years of leadership experience.
• Experience with Windows technologies, security concepts and applications, data center operations; MCSE certification or equivalent; Microsoft technologies; PC/Laptop and mobile solution technology.
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP or network certification (or equivalent).
• ITSM or ITIL certification.
• Experience in IT infrastructure projects and project management.
• Experience working in a multi-national manufacturing company.
• Fluent level of English.
