Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall technology function, balancing strategic vision with hands-on leadership across engineering, architecture, product delivery, and platform scalability
• Drive modern technology practices and strengthen operational resilience to support increasing transaction volumes and regional partnerships
• Align technology initiatives with commercial priorities and work closely with executive leadership
• Oversee evolution of platform architecture, product development processes, and technical operations across geographically distributed teams

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading technology organisations within fintech, payments, or financial services
• Strong expertise in software engineering, distributed systems, and scalable platform architecture
• Track record of delivering large-scale technology programmes in fast-paced environments
• Deep understanding of product development lifecycles and modern engineering practices
• Experience managing and mentoring cross-functional technical teams across multiple regions
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to align technology decisions to business outcomes
• Experience in remittance, payments, or cross-border transaction platforms advantageous
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline
