About the Company

BRED IT (Thailand) Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of the French bank BRED Banque Populaire (BPCE Group). Established in 2008 as the IT hub for BRED Group commercial banks across Southeast Asia, the Pacific and the Horn of Africa, BRED IT also provides remote IT services to Paris headquarters. Today, with more than 200 employees, BRED IT hosts and manages all layers of BRED international banks information systems (infrastructure to applications: Core Banking, Internet/Mobile Banking, E-Payments) on a 24x7 basis. Half of the activity is performed for BRED Headquarters with a focus on projects (built with Java, COBOL, PHP, DataStage) and production/DevOps.

About the Role

• Job Title: Associate – Business Analyst
• Department/Function: INT-BUILD-EBK-MAD
• Reporting to: Senior Manager - Deputy Head of Digital Banking
• Work arrangement: Hybrid

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements from the bank, suggest enhancements and mutualized solutions.
• Liaise with technical leads and architects to define appropriate technical solutions.
• Write detailed functional and technical specifications for developers.
• Communicate with vendors to obtain quotations.
• Perform first-level testing and coordinate with QA for UAT and non-regression testing.
• Write user guides and organize training for the banks.
• Plan project implementation in accordance with the Program Manager.
• Monitor and report project status to management.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar IT position working on software or mobile application development.
• Prior experience in EDI, API integration or data movement; familiar with API management (REST, SOAP, XML).
• Good knowledge of digital banking industry practices and relevant technical/functional experience in the digital banking domain.
• Knowledge of Core Banking systems.
• Strong technical skills (SQL, Java) with ability to query databases and review technical logs.
• General understanding of web development, application programming, mobile app development, database and system design.
• Strong project management methodology and organization (Agile). PMP / PRINCE II / Scrum Master certification is a plus.
• Effective communication, presentation and relationship management skills to interact with bank management, vendors and technical teams.
• Customer-centric mindset, business acumen, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in an international environment and travel.
• Excellent level in English (writing and speaking); proficiency in French is a plus.
