Maintenance Technician

Your responsibilities

• Operate and provide technical support for manufacturing and packaging lines to meet production goals.
• Consistently achieve Quality and Health & Safety Key Performance Indicator targets.
• Exceed customer service, Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and waste reduction targets with your line team.
• Lead and improve the changeover process, aiming for time reduction.
• Train, develop, and assess team members to maximise team versatility and efficiency.
• Spearhead troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance operations.

The experience we're looking for

• Experienced with high-speed packaging equipment within a FMCG, food, chemical, or pharmaceutical setting.
• Mechanical and / or electrical engineering skills – having completed an apprenticeship or craft training.
• A proactive problem-solver with a record of driving improvements.
• Capable of meeting and exceeding ambitious targets.
• Knowledge of quality standards / Good Manufacturing Practise and working in a KPI-driven environment.
• Proficient in basic IT skills.
