SEA Capability and Development Manager

About the Role

Danone Specialized Nutrition South East Asia is seeking a SEA Capability and Development Manager based in Thailand to create and drive L&D strategy and capability development for the Healthcare Nutrition field team in Thailand and support SEA/regional rollouts. The role partners with Healthcare Nutrition leadership, HR, Marketing, Medical Nutrition Sciences and regional/global L&D teams.

Responsibilities

• Create annual L&D strategy and learning roadmaps for Thailand Healthcare Nutrition field force in collaboration with HN Director, country leads, HR, Marketing and Medical Nutrition Sciences.
• Identify and benchmark training needs and functional competencies (knowledge & skill); standardize and benchmark competencies regionally and globally.
• Design and drive functional competency assessments, on-boarding and induction modules for new Healthcare Nutrition field employees aligned with global/regional guidelines.
• Design, roll out and deliver training programs and management development initiatives for field line managers and nutrition executives, either personally or via external partners.
• Design and propose training budgets and align allocations with HN Director; partner with local HR on career development and specialised interventions for high performers.
• Align with channel heads, country head and regional/global teams on training AOP, calendars, assessment processes, scientific knowledge training goals and best-practice sharing.
• Be owner of Healthcare Nutrition Cycle meetings: calendaring, cross-functional coordination, agenda setting and execution.
• Drive digital learning: launch and rollout LMS in Thailand; conduct monthly/quarterly skill and knowledge assessments via LMS; leverage DREAMFLIX/DREAM app features; roll out FCQ for field coaching evaluation; drive Campus-X courses and translate training content where needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of sales training, commercial training, or sales enablement experience.
• Preferably 1-3 years managing programs across multi-country or regional scope.
• Strong understanding of adult learning methodologies, instructional design and virtual facilitation.
• Specific background in Healthcare and/or Nutrition.
• High proficiency in English; multi-lingual abilities (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu, Bahasa Indonesia, or Thai) are highly advantageous.
• Exceptional cross-cultural communication, persuasive presentation and project management skills.
