Japanese-speaking Senior Product Designer (AI Solutions for Legal)

The company combines Generative AI capabilities with enterprise-grade SaaS platforms to help legal and corporate teams automate complex workflows and improve operational efficiency.

The organisation operates in a collaborative environment where product, engineering, and design teams build intuitive, scalable enterprise platforms for international markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end UI/UX design and architecture for major enterprise B2B SaaS product modules.
• Design AI-driven user experiences, advanced search interfaces, and intelligent workflow systems for legal workflows.
• Conduct UX research, usability testing, user interviews, and data-driven design analysis.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to deliver scalable and technically feasible solutions.
• Develop and maintain scalable Figma-based design systems and responsive UI components.
• Support multilingual product localization and cross-platform consistency.
• Utilise AI tools and rapid prototyping methods to accelerate design workflows and product iteration cycles.
• Advocate for design excellence and continuously optimise internal design processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in UI/UX or Product Design for Web Services or B2B SaaS products.
• Proven experience leading complex product modules or acting as a Design Lead.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and scalable design systems development.
• Strong understanding of UX research methodologies, usability testing, and iterative product improvement.
• Experience designing AI-powered interfaces or utilising Generative AI workflows.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Professional fluency in English is mandatory; Japanese fluency is required for daily communication.
• Open to expatriates (non-Japanese).
