Demi Chef (Associate Canteen)

About the Role

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated candidate for the position of Demi Chef to join our new Associate Restaurant under the Allied Function at Laguna Phuket.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie in the daily operation of the assigned kitchen section
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, standards, and instructions from senior chefs
• Support food preparation and mise en place to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet company standards
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times
• Monitor stock levels and inform senior chefs of any shortages
• Assist in training and guiding Commis Chefs and kitchen helpers when required
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role or as a Commis Chef
• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
