Role Overview

This role supports complex data-driven initiatives across Wealth Management and Financial Services platforms. It is a data-centric Business Analyst role focusing on data migration, integration, reporting, and analytics

What You Will Get To Do: Key Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis across data-focused initiatives, including data migration, integration, and reporting
• Elicit, analyse, and document data requirements, business rules, and data definitions
• Develop source-to-target mappings, data load specifications, and transformation logic
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and delivery teams
• Support data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities
• Facilitate requirements and data walkthrough workshops
• Ensure end-to-end traceability from business requirements to data solutions
• Support SIT, UAT, and parallel run activities
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies related to data delivery

What You Will Bring: Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a strong data focus
• Experience delivering data migration, reporting, or integration programs
• Wealth Management, Superannuation, Investments, or Insurance domain experience
• Strong data analysis, mapping, and business rules definition skills
• Ability to read and interpret SQL queries and data models
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Visio (BPMN), and collaboration tools
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Regulatory or financial reporting data experience
• Agile or hybrid delivery experience
• IIBA certifications (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP)
• Experience mentoring other Business Analysts
