Senior Data Engineer

How Will You Make An Impact?

You will lead the development of scalable data platforms and pipelines that power business intelligence and data-driven decisions across the organization. Your work will ensure reliable, secure, and high-performance data solutions while driving technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement across the Data Engineering team.

What You Will Do?

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data platforms
• Establish data engineering standards, best practices, and architecture guidelines
• Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and governance across the data ecosystem
• Design and oversee databases, data warehouses, and data lake architectures
• Optimize data storage, processing performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
• Drive platform modernization and cloud data initiatives
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and observability for data pipelines and platforms
• Lead root cause analysis and resolve complex data issues
• Continuously improve data platform reliability, performance, scalability, and operational efficiency
• Provide technical leadership and mentor Data Engineers and cross-functional teams
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Business Teams to support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives
• Review technical solution designs to ensure alignment with business objectives
• Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in data engineering
• Drive automation, DataOps practices, and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Will Need?

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Related Field
• At least 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or Related Field
• Experience with Big Data Technologies
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer (Airflow), and IAM
• Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and BigQuery
• Good understanding of data structures and their application in Data Engineering
• Experience with data pipeline tools such as Apache Airflow or dbt is a plus
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS
• Understanding of CI/CD workflows and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
• Experience with AI-driven or Low-Code automation tools such as Knime, n8n, or Make is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience designing scalable and secure data architectures
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
• Leadership experience with the ability to mentor team members
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Fluent in Thai
• English proficiency is an advantage
