รายละเอียดงาน

About the Company

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world's worst humanitarian crises, helping to restore health, safety, education, economic wellbeing, and power to people devastated by conflict and disaster. Founded in 1933 at the call of Albert Einstein, the IRC is one of the world's largest international humanitarian non-governmental organizations (INGO), at work in more than 40 countries and 29 U.S. cities helping people to survive, reclaim control of their future and strengthen their communities. A force for humanity, IRC employees deliver lasting impact by restoring safety, dignity and hope to millions. If you're a solutions-driven, passionate change-maker, come join us in positively impacting the lives of millions of people world-wide for a better future.

Thailand hosts more than 90,000 verified refugees in nine camps along the Thai-Myanmar border, one of the world’s longest-running refugee situations. Recent policies allowing refugees to work legally present important opportunities for self-reliance and social cohesion, but require continued advocacy, technical support, and coordination. At the same time, maintaining essential services, particularly health care, remains critical as the government advances the transition of camp services. Since 1975, the IRC has worked closely with the Royal Thai Government to support refugees, and currently facilitate the implementation of legal work opportunities, and strengthen the transition of health services within the camps

The IRC Thailand country program currently manages a large portfolio of humanitarian assistance programming in the sectors of health, environmental health, protection and empowerment, emergency response and advocacy for displaced persons from Myanmar in Thailand.
