Logistics Operator

JOB PURPOSE

The Logistics Operator operate a forklift and reach truck or industrial truck to move materials, goods, and products within a warehouse, construction site, manufacturing facility, or other industrial settings. Drivers play a crucial role in the logistics and supply chain process, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of heavy and bulky items.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse
• Transporting materials to different locations within the
• Optimizing loads to ensure operational
• Securing loads to the machine before
• Inspecting for damage to
• Identifying workplace safety
• Adhering to safety management
• Adhering to production

QUALIFICATION

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift & Reach Truck operator certification or license.
• Proven experience as a forklift and reach truck driver, typically a minimum of 3 years.
• Strong knowledge of forklift and reach truck operation and safety best practices.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and systems (e.g., WMS).
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work in variable weather conditions and temperature-controlled environments as needed.
