About the Role

Oversees all quality and reliability activities and staff for all products or product lines; manages a team of quality and reliability engineers, technicians, and first-line supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Approve department projects including creation of project deliverables and review project stage gates and proposals.
• Develop strategy roadmap, set and track KPI metrics and cascade them to the team.
• Plan resources including budget responsibilities, headcount and schedules for functional and quality performance work.
• Lead, mentor and develop mid- to large-scale teams to promote quality awareness and implement quality programs and initiatives.
• Manage and cascade staffing development and performance management programs for all quality staff.
• Maintain constructive relationships with all departments and external stakeholders and handle escalations at the Manager level, continuing escalation process if needed.

Qualifications

• Generally requires Bachelor's degree in appropriate field with 12 or more years of experience; or Master's degree with 10 or more years of experience; or PhD level with 6 or more years of experience; or local equivalent.
