RTR (GL) Accountant - Relocation to Malaysia

Position: RTR - Based in Malaysia (Relocation Required)
Location: Selangor, Malaysia (Sunway Geo Tower)

Genpact is an advanced technology services and solutions company focused on AI and digital innovation, including Genpact’s AI Gigafactory. If you thrive in a fast-moving, tech-driven environment and want to work on finance processes at scale, this role is based onsite in Malaysia and requires relocation.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of balance sheet account reconciliations and reporting of open items
• Ensure timely delivery of work and provide regular updates to stakeholders including clients
• Prepare and update process documentation and maintain process maps for finance functions
• Perform research, investigations and detailed analysis with logical conclusions
• Manage responses to queries from clients and auditors
• Support migration of additional finance responsibilities and maintain supporting documentation
• Manage ad-hoc reporting and queries
• Ensure integrity and completeness of financial records and compliance with finance control standards

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in finance and accounting (insurance industry background is an advantage)
• Excellent reconciliation, accounting and reporting experience
• Prior experience in reconciliation and month-end closing (preferred)
• Good knowledge of General Ledger
• High attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines
