Receiving and Store Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels and maintain sufficient inventory to support operations
• Confirm item pricing with Purchasing before order placement
• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records
• Issue materials based on approved requests and company procedures
• Ensure proper FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices are followed
• Conduct regular stock counts and support periodic physical inventory audits
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of storage areas
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Receiving, and user departments for efficient operations
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal control systems
• Receive deliveries from suppliers and logistics providers
• Verify quantities, quality, and specifications against Purchase Orders (PO) and delivery documents
• Ensure Tax Invoices/Receipts are accurately recorded in the procurement system before submission to Accounts Payable (A/P)
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards during receiving processes
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of receiving areas
• Support internal and external audits and inspections as required
