About the Role

The Associate Director, People & Culture Business Partner Supply Chain is a senior strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing the people agenda across SPBT’s end-to-end supply chain. This role serves as the principal advisor to the SVP Supply Chain and Supply Chain Leadership Team, ensuring that talent, culture, organisational effectiveness, and capability strategies enable a resilient, high-performing, and future-ready supply chain network.

Operating at the intersection of business strategy, operational excellence, and human capital leadership, the Associate Director partners closely with regional and market P&C teams to harmonise global standards while enabling local agility, and to strengthen manufacturing, logistics, quality, engineering, safety and sustainability talent.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary People & Culture advisor to the SPBT Supply Chain organisation, influencing strategic decisions with data-driven insights and translating global priorities into a coherent people strategy that accelerates productivity, digital transformation, operational resilience, and cost competitiveness.
  • Partner with senior leaders on long-term workforce planning, capability development, and organisational design for a complex, multi-market supply chain ecosystem.
  • Build a robust global talent pipeline for critical supply chain roles (plant leadership, engineering, quality, safety, sustainability); lead succession planning, leadership development, and executive coaching for senior supply chain leaders.
  • Drive capability uplift in lean manufacturing, automation, digital supply chain, advanced analytics, and sustainability to support operational excellence.
  • Champion a culture of safety, continuous improvement, accountability, and empowerment; lead cultural transformation initiatives to strengthen employee engagement, inclusion, and operational excellence.
  • Shape and refine the supply chain operating model to ensure clarity of roles, governance, decision rights, and cross-functional ways of working; partner with Finance and Operations to optimise structures for efficiency, agility, and scalability.
  • Oversee global workforce strategy including labour planning, capability mapping, and future-skills readiness; provide strategic oversight on employee and labour relations and ensure compliance across diverse regulatory environments.
  • Work closely with regional and market P&C leaders and influence senior stakeholders across Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, Sustainability, and Corporate Affairs; represent the Supply Chain P&C agenda at leadership forums and steering committees.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with significant exposure to large-scale supply chain, manufacturing, or operations environments.
  • Proven track record as a strategic business partner to C-suite or senior operational leaders in multinational organisations.
  • Deep expertise in organisational design, talent strategy, leadership development, and cultural transformation.
  • Experience navigating complex, matrixed global environments with diverse regulatory and labour landscapes.
  • Strong analytical acumen with the ability to translate data into strategic insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated capability in leading change, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in HR, Business, Organisational Psychology, or related field preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to commute regularly between the Bangkok Head Office and two factory sites (Rayong & Saraburi); comfortable with frequent multi-location presence as an inherent requirement of the role.

  • At Suntory, we recognize that diverse knowledge, perspectives, and backgrounds contribute to our collective success. We are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where all individuals can bring their whole selves to work every day, regardless of race, color, religion, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, or any other protected characteristic.
