Senior Software Engineer - Java Fullstack

About the Role

Java Full Stack Developer (Spring Boot, Angular / React / Vue) - 5+ years of experience

Job Purpose: To prepare detailed design, implement, test, troubleshoot & deliver high-quality, and fully performing software that complies with client requirements, quality standards, and architectural design.

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle by interacting with Project Lead and Architects
• Prepare detailed design, implement, test, and deliver high-quality software that complies with software requirements, quality standards, and technical design
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system and troubleshoot and debug software systems to fix issues
• Review design, source code, and test cases and suggest improvements to ensure conformance with requirements, performance, and maintainability
• Contribute to future technology development and reusable development to build organizational capacity and meet customer requirements
• Support and develop software engineers by reviewing their artifacts, providing advice and coaching
• Apply, design and develop automated testing strategies and build automated testing frameworks
• Analyze and verify the best automated and manual test approaches and execute acceptance, integration, installation and system testing
• Set test environments, design test plans, and test all aspects of the product/system including functional, component, system, performance, regression and service testing
• Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, trace results to quality risk and report to concerned stakeholders

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Java full-stack development
• Mastery in software design and coding
• Knowledge of key software design patterns
• Software estimation skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrated expertise in relevant software technologies

Skills

• Spring Boot, Java-based backend development
• Frontend frameworks: Angular, React or Vue
• Automated testing strategies and testing frameworks
• Design, implementation, integration and debugging of software components
• Code review and mentoring of junior engineers
