Responsibilities

• Responsible for preventive maintenance activities for all equipment.
• Execute planned maintenance activities including preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance.
• Maintain SHE framework standards and ensure safe working areas, including machine interlocks, safeguards and protection of moving parts.
• Troubleshoot production lines to eliminate major, chronic and sporadic defects in machines and equipment.
• Transfer skills from technicians to operators by ensuring mentor program implementation.
• Extend equipment life cycle by implementing corrective maintenance and supporting early management activities.
• Check availability of spare parts to conduct the preventive maintenance program.
• Drive cost reduction of repair and maintenance activities.
• Ensure high efficiency in production lines by tackling main sources and causes of breakdowns.
• Propose and participate in improvement ideas and improvement groups; take ideas through to implementation and present projects to internal personnel and external visitors/auditors.
• Manage line operation during innovation trials and present trial reports; support new machine commissioning and ramp-up phases.
• Support all TPM pillars activities.
• Lead a team of 2-3 engineers and numerous technicians.

Qualifications

• University graduate with 2-3 years of experience in the home and personal care industry with similar technologies.
• Knowledge of safety and quality working practices.
• TPM fully operational is recommended.
• Fully operational in automation and instrumentation.
• Computer and digital literacy is preferred.
• Capable of stakeholder management at all levels.

Skills

• Ability to present improvement projects and reports to stakeholders.
