IT Infrastructure Manager

About the Role

IT Infrastructure Manager (SI Business Experience) – Up to 130,000 THB/month + Upcountry Allowance. Location: Rayong (Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate (Pluak Daeng)). Language: Thai speaker, business level English.

An established IT Solutions company (ASW Consulting) is seeking an IT Infrastructure Leader to oversee the infrastructure team and projects, and to collaborate with Sales, GM and Deputy GM on technically viable, revenue-generating solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary infrastructure team (network, systems, cloud, security); team size ~10 engineers and support staff
• Own end-to-end delivery of enterprise infrastructure and system integration projects — on time, on budget, and to high quality standards
• Oversee infrastructure projects, managed services operations and internal IT systems, ensuring SLA excellence and operational stability
• Act as a trusted technical advisor in customer discussions and pre-sales engagements
• Review and validate architecture designs (HLD/LLD) prior to implementation
• Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, processes and technical capabilities
• Manage budgets, vendors, contracts and project profitability
• Champion best practices in IT governance, security and risk management

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in IT infrastructure, with 3–5 years leading teams
• Proven experience working with manufacturing clients (preferably steel)
• Direct experience in system integration, IT services or consulting environments
• Strong track record delivering enterprise-scale infrastructure projects
• Deep expertise across enterprise networking (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, firewalls); server & virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V); cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments; cybersecurity, backup & disaster recovery and data center modernization
• Solid understanding of IT service management (ITIL or equivalent)
• Confidence in customer-facing roles and technical solution discussions
• Strong commercial awareness (P&L: costing, margins; decision-making under pressure)
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English (professional working proficiency)
• Nice to have: Japanese language skills (JLPT N2 or above)
