Power BI Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Power BI Engineer to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. The role involves designing and developing Power BI dashboards, data models, and reporting solutions while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable insights. The candidate will ensure data accuracy, optimize reporting performance, and support enterprise analytics initiatives using Power BI, DAX, SQL, DataBricks, and related technologies in an Agile delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
• Translate business requirements into data models and visualizations
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver reporting solutions
• Optimize Power BI performance using DAX, query tuning, and data modeling
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across reports
• Document report logic, business rules, and data sources

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in Power BI development and data visualization
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Skills

• Power BI development, DAX & Power Query, and data modeling
• SQL and database querying
• Experience with DataBricks / Spark and ETL/data transformation
• Version control (Git) and ALM/BI tooling (DAX Studio, ALM Toolkit)

Good to have

• Business analysis experience
• Additional ETL exposure and stakeholder engagement experience
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery

Additional Information

• Proficiency in native Thai and English (spoken and written)
• Work schedule: 5 days per week with 4 days onsite at Gemopolis Industrial, Prawet, Bangkok
• Contract: 1-year contract (contract_daily)
• Compensation: Base salary offered with no benefits
