About the role:

The person will be responsible for all cleaning and reporting of general maintenance for the Estates. During guest or owner stay, this role requires live in service while cooking, preparing and serving simple menus, drinks and cocktails, as well as daily cleaning and Concierge duties.

The position reports to the Residences Manager as well as the Director of Rooms and Residences.

What you will do:

• Find opportunities to personalize the service experience for each guest
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of workplace in line with safety standards
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers
• Adherence to Standards: Uphold the resort’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, and guest service, ensuring all duties are performed to the luxury level expected by guests.
• The ability to follow payroll and key sign in-out procedure.
• The ability to read and understand the work reports.
• The ability to clean (and wax where applicable), dust, sanitize and supply (including amenities) all rooms (including bathrooms).
• The ability to make a bed and vacuum the floors in the bathrooms.
• The ability to keep nearby walkway, plunge pool and terraces clean, neat and free of litter.
• The ability to retrieve and then maintain the linen closet in a clean, neat and orderly fashion.
• The ability to restock all supplies and equipment to ensure sufficient daily supply.
• The ability to maintain pars established in all rooms for linens, supplies and furniture.
• The ability to check and replenish all refrigerators and bars.
• The ability to notice and report any damage or repairs needed in assigned areas.
• The ability to wash dishes and remove dishes to the service area.
• The ability to provide a turn down service as per standard established by the Resort.
• The ability to assume possession of residence keys and keep them secured.
• The ability to observe uniform and grooming standards on a daily basis.
• The ability to cook and serve basic dishes as trained by the Kitchen Department.
• The ability to prepare and serve drinks and simple cocktails i.e. gin/tonic, whisky/soda.
• The ability to take food orders.
• The ability to assist with guest services – e.g. call buggies in house, restaurant reservation.
• The ability to offer any assistance possible to the guests.
• The ability to properly use all cleaning supplies and equipment.
• The ability to respond properly to any hotel emergency or safety situation.
• The ability to live in the Residence 24 hours a day.
• The ability to provide thoughtful and anticipatory service throughout all interactions
• The ability to perform other reasonable and related tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
• The ability to be completely familiar with the carries out the policies and procedures established by Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui.
• The ability to report any loss or damage of linen, furniture, fixture or equipment to Residences Manager.
• The ability to report any lost & found to Lost & Found Room immediately.
• The ability to problem solve and take initiative in order to ensure all guest needs are met
• The ability to maintain the highest level of cleanliness and care throughout all resort Estates to ensure upkeep and standard condition is met in protection of the owner’s asset at all times

What you bring:

• Must have existing work authorization to work in the country of Thailand
• High level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays is ideal
