Trade Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Analyzing market situation and trends of assigned trade lanes to achieve given targets
• Discussing with principal during weekly calls for trade directions and pricing position
• Planning effective Sales and marketing strategies
• Assisting manager in capacity management including forecasting of assigned trade or services
• Following up Sales lead with ZIM's agencies for FOB nominations
• Monitoring country's Sales performance and taking actions with principal or Sales team if required to ensure target is met
• Preparing the marketing report as assigned

Requirements

• At least 3 years working experience in shipping line or related business field
• Having global market knowledge of shipping business
• Excellent in both written and spoken English
• Good communication and interpersonal skill
• Analytical skill and systematic person
• Fast learner and flexible
• Positive thinking and able to motivate others person
• Conflict management and be rational
• Open-minded, socializing and highly connected with people
• Ability to work under pressure
