BD Project Management (Shopee)

About the Role

The Shopee Commercial BD team is the engine behind our platform’s most ambitious growth levers. As the lead for Speed Initiatives, you will own the vision for Shopee’s Instant and Same-Day delivery ecosystem. This is not a maintenance role; it is a "builder" role. You will be responsible for defining how ultra-fast fulfillment transforms from a premium service into a core driver of user acquisition and platform stickiness. You will report to the Head of BD Infrastructure and serve as the strategic lead for our most time-sensitive logistics value propositions.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and manage scalable solutions and programs aimed at enhancing the overall buyer journey and improving delivery speed to improve seller and buyer experiences.
• Lead end-to-end implementation of key projects, ensuring alignment with Commercial team strategic objectives and timely delivery.
• Identify analytical and reporting needs; define business metrics and provide data-driven recommendations to support continuous business improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to scope problems and optimize internal processes through automation and strategic improvements to boost team productivity.
• Translate complex data and insights into clear presentations and dashboards; communicate strategic recommendations to business leaders.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in business analyst–related roles analyzing large data sets and informing company strategy.
• Bachelor's/Master’s degree, preferably in Analytics, Statistics, Software, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or Engineering.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SQL is a plus.
• Experience in logistics, delivery, or ecommerce in a fast-paced and performance-driven environment is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills: able to assess complex business problems, find creative and effective solutions, and execute tactics in a timely manner.
• Ability to design and build scalable information systems/dashboards for day-to-day business decisions.
