Audio Engineer

About the Role

We are currently hiring for the position of Junior Audio Engineer (BMT / STS) for our Audio Post-Production team. This role is initially considered a general Audio Engineer position. Candidates will be evaluated through interviews and a practical test to determine suitability for either Junior Mix Audio Engineer or Junior Audio QC Engineer. Final placement will be based on individual skills, strengths, and overall fit with each workflow.

Junior Mix Audio Engineer - BMT (STS)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality work according to expected deadlines
• Operate and manage AI voice generation and voice conversion tools to produce high-quality localized audio outputs
• Ensure mixes have good balance, dialogue clarity, dynamics, and overall tonal consistency with the materials provided by the client
• Check loudness, peak levels, and audio specs according to client requirements
• Ensure proper audio routing, track layout, and session organization in Pro Tools
• Address and revise mixes based on feedback from QC process or rejections
• Identify issues from raw recording sessions such as distortion, sync errors, or missing lines during mix process
• Collaborate with production stakeholders to meet deadlines and quality standards
• Support root-cause investigations of client rejections related to AI voice generation, mixing, or technical errors
• Follow established workflows, SLAs, and project timelines
• Continuously improve work quality through feedback, learning and training

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Audio Engineering, Sound Production, or related fields/experiences
• 1–3 years of experience in audio post-production (fresh graduates with strong fundamentals are welcome)
• Knowledge of audio technology and audio theory
• Good understanding of Pro Tools software
• Strong critical listening skills with high attention to detail
• Able to interchange from day to night shift or weekend OTs as necessary

Junior Audio QC Engineer - BMT (STS)

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control on dubbed audio files, focusing on technical errors
• Identify issues such as distortion, sync errors, missing lines, or incorrect audio effect and report them clearly in QC reports
• Check loudness, peak levels, and audio specs according to client requirements
• Maintain and update QC checklists and tracking tools to ensure consistent quality control processes
• Coordinate with production stakeholders to resolve detected issues
• Follow established workflows, SLAs, and project timelines
• Continuously improve QC accuracy through feedback, learning and training

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Audio Engineering, Sound Production, or related fields/experiences
• 0–3 years of experience in audio post-production or QC (fresh graduates with strong fundamentals are welcome)
• Knowledge of audio technology and audio theory
• Good understanding of Pro Tools software
• Strong critical listening skills with high attention to detail
• Able to interchange from day to night shift or weekend OTs as necessary
